Nothing new...

I haven't updated in awhile, but there isn't really anything to update just yet. We are 10 weeks today, the baby is about an inch long. We should be able to hear the heartbeat at the next appointment. Let's just hope there is only one baby in there....but we won't know that until we have the first ultrasound (probably the April or May). My hubby is the father of twins and my mother is a twin....you never know what will happen.

Now, to the big list of no no's. Why is it that the second you can't have something you want it? I can't have lunch meat....I'm dying for a sandwich....oohhh a club sandwich sounds sooo good! I'm not supposed to have too much chocolate because of the caffeine, but not too worry, I don't really want chocolate these days. But coffee, anytime I smell coffee I start craving it. I've never craved coffee! And I would love to have a really good breakfast, but eggs turn my tummy and the smell of sausage just isn't cutting it these days. Of course, Marc thinks we are having a boy because all I seem to want to eat is cereal, pasta, and beef.

And I've found a new hobby....I discovered that I like scrap booking. There is this wonderful store up here called Recollections. I took a Scrapbooking 101 class the other night. Gave me lots of good ideas. I'm finally going to finish my wedding scrapbook....2 years later! Ok, that's all for now....

First Doctor Appointment

We had our first doctor appointment this past Thursday. Everything went well. It's really too early to tell, but the doc said I'm healthy and at a young enough age to not worry. We go back on Mar 2 for our next appointment and we are supposed to be able to hear the heartbeat then. Isn't that exciting? There isn't much else going much else going on in the baby front. I'm still tired all the time and I seem to be getting quesey a little more often, but nothing too bad. Oh, and I think the cat knows something is up. She has turned into a lap kitty lately. She'll jump on the sofa to lay on my belly. And if I put her on my belly, she doesn't complain and will stay quite a long time. After talking to a couple of girls who are pregnant as well, their dogs do the same thing. I think animals know....I don't know how, but they do. (It's hard to tell with Jack, he's always so needy and wants to be in your lap.)

Yesterday, Marc and I went to Let's Dish. It was pretty neat. For those of you that aren't familiar, I'll give you a little description. First off, if you want, you can visit their website www.letsdish.com . You make your reservation online and you can sign up for 4, 8, or 12 meals and you pick your meals ahead of time. We chose 4 meals since this was our first time and we weren't sure if we'd have room in the freezer or how it would taste. They have stations set up with all the ingredients you need and how to put them together. Then they have cooking instruction labels to put on everything. And you take it home and freeze it until you are ready to eat. They suggest you eat them with 2 months of making them. We have plenty of room in the freezer and all the stuff sounds/looks good and we had fun doing it....so, assuming it tastes good, we'll probably do it again. Hopefully, this will keep us from eating out and it won't matter that I have no energy to cook. Keep your fingers crossed!

Ground Hog Day

Happy Ground Hog Day. It looks like it's going to be a long winter. Phil saw his shadow. =( I don't like winter. I could be a beach bunny for life! And of course, Comedy Central is running a Ground Hog Day marathon and playing the movie over and over and over. There isn't much going on here. The family knows now. We are starting to tell our friends, too. I'm going to hold off on telling work for another month or so, unless I really start showing.

There isn't much else going on here. Today is my day off, although I had to go into work for 2 hours this morning. Then I went shopping. =) On my way home, I stopped at Great Harvest and picked up a loaf of "darn good bread." It's so good, the cat and the dog are trying to help me eat it. We're going over to some friends' on Sunday to watch the big game.

Well, I'm worn out, I think I'm going to go take a nap.
