I started working about a week and a half, two weeks ago. So that just makes everything a little tougher, especially since I'm working from home. Sofia and I are starting to get a routine down, but we are still learning. She is starting to nap a little bit better, but still not really longer than an hour at a time, but she's napping usually 3 times. I'm getting up early to try and get some work done before she gets up and she's starting to spend more time in her jump-a-roo. I think she's still a tad young to be in it too long. She seems to wear out easily. I think the hardest thing is going to be fitting the gym in.
Sofia started rice cereal a little over a week ago! Horray! I forgot to take pictures the first time we gave it to her on a spoon, but we got some the second time. She didn't do so well the first, so we gave it to her in her bottle for her last feeding the past week. Tonight we tried it again on a spoon and she did a lot better.
And I went to Weight Watchers and lost 0.2!! I was really expecting a gain last week. Marc and I celebrated our 3 year anniversary last Tuesday and went to Cheesecake Factory (thanks Aunt Barbie and Uncle Tom!). While I didn't order a salad, I also didn't stuff myself...and Marc and I split a piece of cheesecake instead of each having our own. Then we ordered pizza one night last week as well. And I think we might have even had Chick-Fil-A. I stopped counting points by Wednesday. So, needless to say, I was happy with a loss and I've been so good about being on plan this week. I keep telling myself, just think how much you would have lost last week if you had been doing everything right and that's my motivation to be better this week. Let's hope for a bigger loss!
Oh and I have a recipe for all you weight watchers out there. I just call it Fluff.
2 packages of fat free sugar free jello, same flavor
2 containers of Dannon Light and Fit yogurt, same flavor as the jello
1 container of Free cool whip
Add about 1 cup of really hot or boiling water to the jello to help it dissolve.
Add the yogurt and cool whip to the jello and mix real good.
Place in fridge to congeal.
There are 12 points in the whole thing, so points depend on how big your servings are. I divided mine into 8, so it was 1.5 points a serving. Yummy!
Sofia getting a bath
My child loves watching tv....go figure
My parents are going to be here tomorrow and there is still laundry that needs to be put away and tiding that needs to be done. I'll try and be better about updating.
