Snow

Sorry, no Sofia pictures this time. Maybe this afternoon when I get her from daycare we'll go out and play in the white stuff and take some then. We are getting 2-4 inches and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. It's supposed to be icey and sleet tomorrow. Ick!

The view out our back window.

My lazy animals.

Jane Fonda/80's Jazzercise ain't got nuttin' on me!

So, Sofia scratched her belly on the dishwasher today. The door was down so we could load it and she was trying to "help" and scratched herself on some part of the door. She's ok, but we put neosporan and a band-aide, but she wouldn't leave the band-aide alone. So we put her in a onsie so she couldn't get it. But she was in such a funk (partly because of the scratch and partly because she was just having a bad day), she didn't want to have any part of putting pants on. So I put some leg warmers on her and off she went. As the evening progressed, she told Marc she needed her Winnie the Pooh shoes too, and then she swiped my fleece beanie cap (but she took it off after the first picture and wouldn't put it back on). It was quite a look she had going on there. :)

New Coat

My Great Aunt Debbie sent me this wonderful barn coat the other day. It matches the coat on my bear! Let's hope it warms up a tad so I can wear it soon (it didn't get out of the 20's here yesterday....I could stay in my fleece footie pj's all day on days like yesterday).

New 'Do Number 2!

This time its for Sofia. She got her first hair cut today. It's hard to tell the difference in these pictures, but it's got a shape now and it's not scraggly anymore. It looks really cute, now if she'd only leave the clips in.

After

(You'll notice I already have my hair pinned back...I still like the bangs, but they drive me nuts before the day is over.)

At the grocery store with our new 'do...giving the kid carts a whirl. We will not be using one of these carts ever again! They are hard to maneuver, the store was packed, and she ended up wanting to be held anyway.

New Year, New 'Do

Still getting used to the bangs. And I'm on the fence about keeping them, but I've only had them for a day and I've been without bangs for 15 years now, I'm sure it'll take some getting used to.

Happy New Year

Some pictures from our breakfast out New Year's Day. Sofia enjoyed dipping pretzels in strawberry jelly. She didn't want anything to do with the yummy pancakes. Go figure.
